Does anyone use variable ND filter? If yes which one?
I'm thinking about it for ultra light rig but don't know which one. NiSi? Schneider? Thanks

I use a Tiffen. There’s definitely some slight color shift but for the projects I use it on, it’s totally fine and manageable. Great for lightweight run and gun work.

On the budget end, Promaster has been good to me. I get nervous using any variable ND on faces, though. The heavy polarization can make skin look oddly matte and weird. Non-Caucasian skin especially.

Thank you guys. I'm thinking about NiSi or B+W. Anyone has experience with these two?

I'm dealing with the same problem. I've heard great things about the SLR Magic MkII (make sure it's not the first version). Sharp and great colors, but the range of ND is a little less than most.
