    I don't think comparing a $19.5k camera to a $52k camera is a fair comparison.

    Besides the obvious. One shoots 5k raw and has better low light and cost more than half as much.

    You are better up comparing it to Monstro that is in the same price class.

    I've shot with both a bunch lately, I disagree that the Mini has more highlight range, maybe a smoother rolloff but that can easily be emulated with a LUT. I actually think the bigger difference is in the "Halation" filter on the sensor. You can also emulate this with Kippertie OLPFs or a 1/16" Hollywood Black Magic filter. There is a difference with color, at least straight out of camera. You can match them for sure but the Gemini takes more work. The DXL LUT has helped a lot in this regard, at least as a starting place for better color. I do find the lack of real 4K limiting on the mini, and my Helium is defintely sharper than the Gemini, but projected on a movie screen it's all negligible.
