Hello, I bought this V mount for my epic 4 years ago, never used it, and now I need it for a project. I can't connect this cable to my RED.
    Thanks for the replies

Can't you just plug the cable into the power jack on the Epic body? I have the same plate and that's how mine has worked with my Scarlet Dragon. To state what might be obvious is that the plate itself doesn't directly attach to the camera.

Pretty sure that is a red one power cable. Not the same plug.

Nick is exactly right, that is a plate designed to work with the Red One. You need the adapter cable that RED made to convert the larger five pin RedOne power connector to the DSMC four pin connector. I believe it's called the 1B to 2B adapter cable. I likely have one around here if you can't source it from another source.
