    Greetings everyone,

I recently rented my RED ONE to a client. Upon it's return I found that I was unable to power it on. I've tried turning it on with the AC power cable, as well as a power cable > D-Tap power cable running to an anton bauer, as well as a power cable > 4 pin XLR cable running through an anton bauer dual charger with the 4 pin XLR power out port. Nothing seems to be wanting to get this guy to turn on. I've spoken to RED and they said I'd have to send it in, but I wanted to see if anyone on here has any ideas or suggestions before I go down that road. Thanks so much!

Are you able to explain what happens when you try to power on?

Nothing happens. No indicator lights, no fan sounds, nothing

Is the on/off switch working? How do you know?

To power the camera up from a RED-CHARGER, connect it via the supplied power cable. Plug the RED-CHARGER into an AC power source and switch it on. After the green LED illuminates on the RED-CHARGER, the camera can be powered on by pressing its On/Off switch.

Watch this video and you may ask him if he knows anything about problem of the power, and where it is located somewhere in the brain: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hG1F...iSzjD63glKN1Wn

Around a year ago Troy Bakewell sent his camera to Red and got it fixed for 200 USD: http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthr...NE-MX-No-Power
    You can ask RED.

Maybe they on https://www.xinegear.com/ can repair your camera. They are Red certified repair partner.
