I'm trying to pitch my client on shooting their short film on K35 glass. He would like to see an example of a small budget short films shot on the lenses. Can anyone forward me a link to something? I tried searching the database but no search results showed up.

    Thanks,
    Brian

I directed a feature that was shot on a Scarlet-MX with these K35 lenses. I’m travelling right now so its difficult to add links via phone but Google “Poor Agnes”. You’ll find the trailer and info on it. I loved the look of it and it was what my DOP and I were going for.

It's not low budget or a short film, but at least Season 1 of Handmaid's Tale on Hulu was shot with the K35s (on Alexa). Whenever Elizabeth Moss's character has some sort of realization or what I think of as a minor panic attack, they open the glass WIIIDDDEEE. You can see the funkiness that the lens brings, which I love, best in those moments especially when outside. The grade on that series is pretty intense so might not be the best example to show but if you're talking purely optics, they show the ultra crisp side and the funky side of the lens pretty well.
