    I doubt it.

    They have one brain.

    That's it.

    Now...maybe a new sensor?

    Sure.

I've been assuming they'll release an 8K Gemini for a while, but I was assuming next year...

(Btw for those of you wondering, an 8K Gemini would be 49mm across, significantly larger than the 41mm of Monstro, and very close to the 54mm of Alexa 65)

Are the Avid Proxies working properly now? I've tried a few different flavours in the last couple of months and the audio was not working, which really is a problem when talking about generating editable proxies...never mind the fact aspect ratios were out of whack too.

When we made that choice there were zero 4k production monitors out there and even still there are not that many out there yet unfortunately.

After looking more in to it, I have only one question Jarred,
Is it open end expandable or does it have a Battery Module on back 3-Stud / V-Lock?!?

I agree, it doesn't make a lot of sense to the current DSMC2 line up. But I'm hearing that there will be a change to the Raven & Scarlet-W cameras.
And given the recent surge of used Ravens & Scarlets for sale recently, it's starting to make more sense to me...

I mean, nothing Red does is "clear," but I thought they made it pretty clear they were moving on from those models and that they were obsolete. Or as obsolete as a Red can be... Same with all the other DSMC 2.0 cameras. I'd be very pleasantly surprised if they ever did anything else for the SW, and doubly so for the Raven.
