FIRMWARE UPDATE 7.1 ISSUE - dead pixel cluster in sensor after update

After updating Scarlet W from 7.1 beta to 7.1.1 release I got random clusters of dead/hot pixels in my image. Thought at first it was dirt on the OLPF but soon learned it was the firmware. Quickly reverted back to 7.0.4 since 7.1 beta isn't available anymore. Which is a shame because atleast on Scarlet W, 7.1 beta was flawless including all it's new features.

Was able to reproduce the problem twice when updating to 7.1.1, and fix it again when rolling back. Possible to re-release FW 7.1 Beta (or anyone still have it locally for SW?).

Anyone else experiencing dead pixel clusters in image/sensor/monitor after updating?

Have you tried calibrating the sensor after firmware update, which you are instructed to do with any firmware update?

It’s not a black shade issue

Yes I've blackshaded the sensor. I wouldn't start a thread about the issue otherwise.

Did you send a R3D into support? Thinking of sending one in but not crazy about installing again Incase they get stuck.

I have sent a few in also I have been back and forth with the firmware....
