Well said. Exactly the conclusion I have come to.

That being said, I'd love to have something like a FS7 or C200 as my camera for smaller jobs where my Epic-W is overkill.

I'm keeping the FS7 for sure! I couldn't use a Red for some of the jobs I do. Well I could but it would be a hassle. ;)

You can't. The SDI only outputs 1080p. :(

    Thanks for the advise everyone.

I ended up buying a Red Gemini, Movi Pro and Canon CN 24,50,85 Lens kit.

    All the best

I have the C200,movi pro, set of CN-e's, it's a really good set up, so many good things about c200 but depends what sort of work you do... the c200 and Cn-e's are great but you def need the 20mm when it arrives, 10 mm is a massive gap (14mm-24mm) when using a gimbal..

Congrats! Sick rig. Now you've had it for a couple of weeks, how has it been so far?

Quick word about the Proaim stuff, I bought their 100mm heavy duty tripod and head for my RED One MX and its been great! Bought the legs on eBay and the head on Amazon because I think there was a sale or something at the time. During our first feature shoot this Summer, the only things that got busted were the pan handle and one of the rubber feet that got snapped, both were accidental situations, but their support people were good about getting me the right spare parts I needed to fix it. :)
