    Hi,

    This may be a strange post but theres always needs of old systems eheh

    How can i convert a DVD to VHS?

    some say those dvd vcr combos do the job? what else is there as an option?

    sound funny.. but ya i film in hdv at the moment and some clients still ask for vhs LOL.. and i want to get a RED!! 4K 2 VHS :nerd: .. but ok.. any solutions that i can know off?

    Most DVD VCR combo units will do the job just fine as long as you don't have Macrovision / CSS encryption on the DVD. You can also connect a good quality VCR (definitely get one with an S.video connection) to any standard DVD player or even a computer with an analog video output and record away... Macrovision can still play a role in those situations too.

    I got two requests for VHS tapes last year, none so far this year. I do get a lot of clients who I've done work for over the past few years wanting me to update their productions and deliver DVD versions to replace VHS tapes. Last year, I started charging an extra fee for delivering VHS... Mostly because I don't want to do it anymore.

    Word is that the ppl at RED are gonna revamp the VHS format for 4K

    thanks for the response, in this case since im producing the dvd.. copyrights etc wont be an issue.. cause im going to buy a dvd vcr combo.. so i wanted to make sure it can do that.. from dvd to vhs.. but how? just record dvd? has a function like that?

    P.S. han? whats this of 4k on vhs?
