  1. #1 Drop Frames!!!!
Is there a main cause for dropped frames? The camera we are using is new and on day three it started dropping frames like crazy. What could this relate to? And what can we do to fix the problem???

    Thanks.

Are you using the drive? If so faulty drive or cable/connection is most likely the cause.

It would mostly relate to a Red Drive. Normally if Red drives experience vibrations they are known to drop frames.

I'd begin by trying a different drive, different drive cable, or switching to CF.

Call or email Red directly. They are always extremely helpful.

We were actually using a 8GB CF Card, not a raid drive. Any thoughts on that???
