To Red Team,
What's the filter used in export on Red Alert 4K Tiff / DPX Still export. I find softening of image in RedCine in comparison to still export from Alert.
Red Team thoughts / suggestions are welcome.

Check the OLPF compensation settings.
The Raw image will appear slightly soft at 4K because of the optical filter infront of the sensor. This filtration is needed to prevent aliasing. A small amount of sharpening is then needed to compensate, this is called OLPF compensation. The default setting in RedAlert is probably different than Redcine.
For stills, I personally prefer to export from RedAlert without compensation and then apply an unsharp mask in photoshop.

G,
I took a look at the images you send Sean and I could not see what settings you had set for REDcine on the color tab but it appears from looking at the images that OLPF comp is not at the same setting in redcine as it is in RA.
Set Detail to high and sharpen to 100%.
