We had a mishap on the college's sound stage where the bottom mounting plate was broken on one of our Epic X bodies.
RED won't sell us just that part and won't fix it (way out of warranty).
We took the bottom plate from one of our Scarlets and fitted it to the Epic, which worked, so we are down a camera.
We are looking for another body that might be damaged or took a plunge in water... something that doesn't work anymore but is still structurally sound (at least the bottom mounting part). An insurance write-off or the like.
Let me know what you have so we can get the Scarlet back into the hands of the students as soon as possible.
