    Hi everyone,

I shot a short film with a red dragon and i would like to know if there is a way with RED X PRO for instance, to know how many hours i have in the short film file?

    Thank you

Hello Pierre and welcome on REDUSER

not sure there is a direct way to get this information but as a workaround you can always drag the whole folder into a timeline within REDCINE to get the total duration of your files...

If you’re on mac my app foolcat will also show duration of all clips at the top of any created PDF report...
foolcat : HTML / PDF visual reports for OS X
foolcontrol : RED camera control for OS X
foolcontrol : RED camera control for iOS
foolcontrol : RED camera control for Android

You could also do this for free in Resolve: drag all the files into a bin, create one timeline from everything in this bin, and you'll know in a few seconds how much material is there (at the designated project framerate setting).
