    Hi,

Does anyone know if reduser and/or DVXuser are being maintained any more? I tried registering over at DVXuser probably 8 months ago and never had my account activated with no response from the staff as to why. Also, RedUser now has a "website not secure" warning in my safari browser for the past several months. This tells me they are not updating their certificate. I tried emailing them but have not received a response.

    Anyone else having these issues?

    Thanks,
    Ron

Jarred just approved a number of accounts over here a bit ago, which also led to a few spammers and bans. I've also had to ban a few individuals for not complying with the "real names policy" for several years. That was a deeper sort of investigation/event, but boy that triggered me deeply to some extent due to some of the post content.

The http/https browser security is likely the website insecure stuff as that was a major change "world wide", which is why you are experiencing it around sites that have been around for a while.

Yeah, it doesn't mean that the certificate has expired, it just indicates that REDUSER doesn't use a certificate and SSL encryption, exactly like most sites used to except for banking. Now people expect most every website to use SSL, even though it's not always necessary. This is generally a publicly-accessible forum so it's pretty safe by nature, just remember not to reuse passwords or post anything in your DMs that you wouldn't want someone on the same WiFi network as you to be able to read.
