    Closed! Thanks everyone.

Hey everyone, I'm back with a second group buy with OSEE for their awesome 21.5" HDR production monitor. OSEE production monitors have been a popular choice for the last few years, terrific quality at a great price. I've had mine for a few months now – it's a wonderful monitor, perfect for on-set use even in sunlight, accurate colours and contrast. Overall really happy with it.

Here's a review from Bob Gundu:

The monitor kit is available in either Gold Mount or V Mount and includes:

    1) LCM215-HDR monitor
    2) Sunhood
    3) V-mount or Gold battery plate
    4) C-stand adapter
    5) Custom foam mold for Pelican 1600 (case not included, just custom foam)

(Example of the custom molded foam – case not included in sale)

    Regular Price: $1,641 USD

Group Buy Price (for 20+ orders): removed

    Free shipping to USA!

This group buy will close on April 10, with orders shipping April 14th. All sales are final.

I will be running this group buy, so please direct all questions to me. Feel free to PM me and I'll get answers direct from OSEE. I'll be keeping everyone updated throughout and keep a master order list. I will privately reach out to each buyer to collect their order, battery mount, and email address, at which point OSEE will take over the transaction.

    Alright who's in?

When will the order start? When the list is at 20+ or when the GB closes?

When the group buy closes and we've crossed the minimum 20+ orders threshold.

The website i found, oseedirect, is pretty light on any actual details that would convince me that this is a good monitor. It says

    Color Space: ITU709, EBU, SMPTE-C, Native, P3, ITU2020

But how much of those colourspaces it can handle is just not mentioned. Nothing does full 2020 at this kind of price does it?

I'm looking for a colour accurate monitor in this size range but an awful lot of pro-sumer monitors are very good at 709/P3 and at the end of the day it's largely down to the panels. 10 bit IPS panels are not that unusual either.

So more technical detail is needed to be able to make a decision...

    EDIT: just found https://osee-dig.com/lcm215-hdr.html

    cheers
    Paul
