Install Plugins in Final Cut Pro 2019 - Alternate Method

    By Serge M

This video shows you an alternate method of installing plugins in Final Cut Pro. Many people are having issues with installing plugins in the Motion Templates folder, so this is an alternate method of installing plugins. As stated in the video, install plugins in the following directory.

    Macintosh HD ▸ Applications ▸ Final Cut Pro ▸ Contents ▸ PlugIns ▸ MediaProviders ▸ MotionEffect.fxp ▸ Contents ▸ Resources ▸ Templates ▸ Titles/Transitions/Generators/Effects

Make sure to add the following extension to the plugin:

    Transitions - .motr
    Titles - .moti
    Effects - .moef
    Generators - .motn

    Hope this helps!

Hi Rand, gotta say sometimes you drive me nuts with how many videos you put up!!
But then, so many of them prove to be really useful and I have to swallow my words, yet again!! :))

I know you don't have a camera, what is it you actually do when you're not posting here?
    Thanks again... as always.

    William,

Haha, yeah I will be posting less in the future due to not having much time coming up in the future. I'm a former civilian military contractor for a student naval aviation training base, which I will probably be going back to soon. Right now however, I'm buying and selling land, which currently gives me a lot of time to post, and renovating low income properties for very cheap and renting them out.All of this is just a much loved hobby which I may one day get into seriously.
