I have lots of issues with the latest version of FCP and R3D on updated projects.

Have you tried updating to the latest " Red Apple Workflow installer" version 16 or the latest version 17.

yes, I was on 17, tried to reinstall it, also went back to V16, still not working. All my projects were working fine before all the recent updates (Big Sur and FCP 10.5), not sure what to do. I saw on other forums that I wasn't the only one.

Same problem here. Works totally fine on Resolve and Big Sur but impossible to read any Red Code with Final Cut
