This was a passion project of mines for years, and I finally had the time to make it happen. Its a tribute to Judy Garland, and the song Over the Rainbow, which was created 80 years ago. The project was shot in a empty house, so I used the master bedroom. Not very big, but had enough space to make the concept work. I used duvetyne to black out the entire room, and my ARRI kit as practicals, with a 2 x 4 Kino as my key light. All shot on the RED Scarlet MX. Even with all the advancements in camera technology, that camera still creates amazing footage. Hope you guys enjoy it.

Beautiful. Did you use a hazer? I would like to know more about your light set-up. Any BTS photos?

Hey, I used a fog machine from Guitar Center. I sprayed the room several times, and waited about 10 minutes to let the fog settle, for the lighting could become more even. As you can see from the photos below, I used two 650w as practicals on the left side of frame. Both lights had dimers, and were set pretty low for I could see the detail on the actual lights. It also made the lights warmer, which when the video goes color, it gives a nice gold fill. The 3rd 650w on the right side of frame was used as a spot light / kicker. I created a snoot from black wrap to make the beam more narrow. I also used a 2 x 4 Kino Bank as my key light. When we had a wide shot, I had all the banks turned on, but during close ups, I only had 3 of them on. Hope this helps, if you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Very beautiful imagery! Great job at being resourceful and creative :0
You don't have to see something to believe in it, but you have to believe in something to see it.

Thanks, glad you liked the video, sometimes the best projects are the ones you have to get a little bit more creative, because you don't have access to all the cool toys.
