    Joel,

It may be possible, however I've personally never tried to due it on the same computer, especially if you already have very important existing projects from a previous "Final" Retail version.

Hmm, might be all great news. But to me the timline stuff lean to be a bit overcomplicated one of those where you ask a bunch of users what they like/would want in a NLE and then give em all with a lot of overlapping functionalities. Lots of time that cause confusion more than anything else. Kind of like flame, that has, I don't know how many ways to display or edit a timline. Its probably not the best way to get new users aboard but possibly keeps the daily users happy. Will be interesting to see where this takes resolve.

    Bjorn,

Yeah, Don't know how having two editing workflows inside of Resolve will help or hurt. It may just be one of those things no one knew they really needed or wanted until after they have used it.

I can't wait to buy the keyboard so I can slip and roll clips under transitions and/or slip and roll transitions without the selection nightmares of the present interface!

I've been feeling around the DR16 public beta this afternoon, and it just feels nice!

Perphaps we should move the Atomos interview to a nab 2019 thread?
But Im trying to understand what Red and Atomos is cooking. Is Atomos going to be able to record r3d? or is it going to convert r3d to prores raw on the fly? Im hoping for record r3d.

Question, why would you like to record r3d outside of camera?
