I have an older Dragon that doesn't record proxies in-camera. What is the best proxy settings and process to use inside of Premiere? We have nearly 50 hours of footage shot in 6k. The file size is definitely an issue for the proxy. We've been doing some proxy tests and the proxy files were rending 2-3 times the size of the RAW .r3d. Currently, the project is 20TB and I can't have it get much larger, so the proxy needs to be about 30% the size of the RAW file.

We need a codec that will support multi-channel customization since our source audio is 2 Mono, or our proxies won't reconnect.

Thanks for your help and feedback.

    This might help https://blog.frame.io/2017/02/13/50-...decs-compared/

Cineform is the lowest on computer resources(LTT uses cineform for their 8k.R3D in adobe PP) and gives the best quality with the lowest bitrate.
