I'm gearing up to shoot a project that will combine a DSMC1 red dragon as an A camera and a RED SCARLET-W DSMC2 as a B camera.

Curious to hear if anyone has advice on best practices on how to match color from these two cameras in the best way possible. I'm aware that changing everything to the IPP2 workflow in post is a good way to match up the baseline color, but I'm curious if there is anything else I can do to make it even more efficient whether changing setting in camera or focusing on matching entirely in post.

I bet you a buck the biggest issue is matching lenses. I have been using an Aja Cion for b camera in interviews with A being a Gemini , and it is easy to make line up. Those two cameras have very different chips. Any two reds will match just fine.
