Hi all. . .

If any of you REDUsers would like to see the World Premiere of our new feature film, "The Land," it will be showing at 7:15PM on Monday, June 17th at the iconic Chinese Theater as part of the 22nd Dances with Films Film Festival. Dances had 3700 submissions this year, and "The Land" is one of just 16 narrative features accepted into competition for best film.

"The Land" was shot on our DSMC 1 Scarlet Dragon.

And here's our brief synopsis: Sixty-something farming couple John and Mary Lou Martin come face-to-face with mistakes from their pasts and an uncertain future as they strive to hold onto the only life they've ever known. Inspired by those set adrift by circumstances that leave them too old to start over and yet too young to give up, the film explores the question, "Are we more than what we do?"

It's a very beautiful film shot mostly in rural Kansas and features some truly superb acting.
