I'm shooting in Aspen in a couple of weeks, then in NYC pretty much continuously the rest of the year (mix of corporate and narrative). Would love to put it through it's paces. Brent?

Something along the lines of the Houdini program maybe?
Parties willing to shoot stuff AND give feedback for alpha/beta testing.
Id be very much into that.
+1 here... and I'd also be up for writing a review of it for a journal that actually caters to the film industry instead of generic clickbaitery ;)

I'm also discussing timing for a trip to Taiwan to visit (and train with) one of the Shaolin grand masters (his family fled the mainland and brought the art with them)... that would an interesting person to make a mini documentary about... ;)

I'm all in. I have several really small almost no budget short films to shoot and I live near Cannes if you want the camera to go pick some images of the Croisette :p

    well, that's put to bed.
it is slightly confusing as being so small and rig-able that wireless monitoring like sony or gorpro has wouldnt be possible, when i shoot a personal project on the sony, i just have the director or talent download the app and they can monitor the shots all day on their phone or tablet by clicking on the cameras wifi channel. yeah, it's not perfect, has a stutter one in while but good enough for a look. I personally found it helpful when rigging the camera in a crazy place, i mean i even have it with my Arlo security cameras!

We have two non profit projects we are working on and donating our time for free to make epic videos for them. One is for Adoption and one for an abused women rehab center. While we do have two 8K helium in house, we were going to use a Sony A7III due to the super small crew involved ( 2-3 people max) and the fact that some of it is just going to be run and gun with a small gimbal. We'd love to use a Komodo instead and put it through its paces to see how it handles an indie production while still delivering something high end looking!

I'm pretty curious to check this thing out. I shoot a ton of esports content and was on a gemini for a while but ended up switching to the BMPCC4k mostly for size with the long unpredictable days. if this can delivery where i need it i might have to jump back in. seems interesting so far.

Hey Jared, so Komodo will shoot 6k Redcode and sell for $5k if you have a Hydrogen.

Why would I spend $22k on a 5k Dragon kit or even $27k on a 5k Gemini kit?
