    I think the BMP4K makes much more sense than the 6K. This is one of those reasons.
    Good production values may not be noticed. Bad production values will be.

    I don't get it...

    6k(or 5.7) bayer gives a perfect debayer to 4k/UHD RGB.
    4k bayer doesn't

    I have been having a lot of fun with this combo. The .71x Ultra does an admirable job and of course the BMPCC4k may be the price:performance/feature leader of the past year.

    In an ideal world I'd prefer 6K. But you have to use the cards you're dealt. The 6K camera as a package is almost a white elephant. The 4K camera... maybe it's not made just for me, but it does make sense as a whole and I can respect it. I might even agree with Todd that it's the best value camera around today.
