I hope around 1500€ Otherwise I could better grab 2 300D ii's, which are more usefull as I would have 2 lights instead of one (unless you are using a softbox).

I was thinking of picking up the 500w Forza, how do you like it? Is it quiet enough?

The unit I have isn't quiet. They say they have updated the fan but I'll see the update next week at a trade show. But its very bright!

Why would anyone get the 300D LL over this, other than price?

The higher heat output and power draw of the 600D's might make the 300DII's a better choice in some situations.

Still cooler and more power efficient than Tungsten, but I get the impression the LED COB technology is already starting to show its limits.

The 300D and 300DII would also be a choice for the smaller size (due to the ballast of the 600D). So if you're traveling...

Who has the Aputure relationship to get the group buy going when these come out?

They don't need to as they can barely keep 300D MK2 in stock. They prefer people go through their local resellers. So I doubt it would happen through Aperture themselves.

That's fair, I did have trouble getting a gold mount 300dii recently.
