Thank you, Antony. Also, for anyone who find this... the method first proposed by Antony worked fine for me. I went into recovery mode and disabled SIP. I booted back up into regular mode and the kext installed fine.

If Apple have followed through on locking down kernel extensions (that Reds Rocket X drivers use) -
you are likely to find that this thread will no longer help you bypass the new security restrictions!
