Eh. Did the EPIC Dragon to Dragon-X upgrade offer go away? I was hoping to do it, but strapped for cash at the moment. Since this is just a trade-in I don't see why this offer needs to be taken away. I also have an EPIC-W that needs a board upgrade to DSMC2 Helium... will that go away too? I'm not a happy camper at the moment, as this really starts to mess with any ability to plan. Not everyone is flush with cash to spend on upgrades. Hope I'm wrong about the upgrade path going away and it's just a site tech issue.

I don't think they did it in the end. Jarred didn't seem confident because the trade-in cost would've been ~$10k (and a new one is $15k). Better off selling and buying new.

Mike, it was there. I looked at it several times as I tried to figure out how/what I was going to do. I was even contacted by RED folks about it. Just didn't realize it'd go away. I suppose I can sell it and buy new etc.

Worst case, I'm really hoping RED allows us to be able to plan better by communicating this better, or staying really flexible with trade-in upgrades like this one was. If anything this is an ask along those lines.

And best case, that option is added back in on the site, and was hopefully just a technical glitch.
