6K Dragon-X DSMC2 Petition!

Graeme stated the new boards in DSMC2 resulted in cleaner images from the same sensor. I have the MG Dragon 6K and there was certainly an improvement over DSMC1 Dragon.

I feel for guys who love their MG weapons who do have very justifiable reasons not to see helium or Gemini as an upgrade...

Their are also small but clear benefits from a picture point of view of the Dsmc2 housed Dragon sensor over a Epic that has the Dragon sensor... but i feel that if Red offered a 6k cut of the Monstro chip most would be happy with that?? Or maybe a dragon in a ranger would be even cleaner?

Monstro is very much like a more sensitive dragon....and for me Gemini and helium are aposing chips with Monstro sitting nicely in the middle... so I do I do think it is a small shame there was never a 6k Monstro

We spoke and asked a lot about the Monstro 6k cutout.
RED never spoke about it, so it's probably a technical no go for them.
Otherwise they would have offered it in their new camera line instead of the Dragon-X 5k option.
Who knows?

+1 Mag Weapon - Although I’m holding out for a Monstro I’d be happy to pony up some $ for a unified body. A 6k Monstro would be cool but that would cannibalize the Monstro sales - kinda like the Raven did to the Dragon. I think it’s best Red keeps the Monstro 8K, that’s really where the magic shines - 8K FF!
