This proves also to those that questioned Red’s intellectual properties in defamatory YouTube videos and articles that they are the ones full of it.
A big victory for Red patents. All the best to Apple and I’ll continue to use Apple products and computers with my Red cameras.
Now any beans to be spilled on the new MacBook Pro 16” and of it can use the afterburner and make portable real-time full res Red 8K + editing ?? ������

MacOs is tacking in the right direction if R3D ultimately becomes a first class citizen.
I wonder if this means the Apple accelerate framework will be optimised for R3D playback on all Apple devices?

Just got even more excited about that new system. My iMac handles my footage surprisingly well, but I could def use something that just chews it all up and spits it right out!

Does this mean Red will allow Apple to develop ProRes Raw?
And what about the Afterburner hardware option for the 2019 Mac Pro? Will Red permit Apple to sell this?

Can help and think that this is all based in the fact that Apple want to have ProRes RAW in there next iPhone Pro 12 ....
After this ruling what will be the next step Jarred ? Will RED License Internal Comrpessed RAW rights to Apple or will we see R3D in future iPhone Pro or will Apple acquire RED and Jarred buys his own island in the caribbean somewhere next to Richard Branson Necker Island
