    Hey Benjamin,

The on-board battery is the battery attached to the EVO.

The modification will take about 2-3 weeks and cost an additional $500. With the DSMC2 EVO MSRP at $1349, you are still saving a considerable amount. Please let us know if you have questions.

    Thanks!
    Hey Zack,

Are the Groupbuy versions shipping directly from CoreSWX? If so, would it be possible to offer the DSMC2 version simply at a $500 premium over the final Groupbuy price? From a layman's perspective, it seems like shipping the unit to us only to then pay to ship it back in order for it to be retrofitted and then finally shipped a third time would add more time + shipping costs to the process, as well as exhaust resources and spare parts at CoreSWX for essentially just a different SKU. Obviously you know way better than I the workflows involved, but just hoping to simplify the process on the front-end if possible, as there seems to be interest from myself and others for ordering the DSMC2 version out of the box.

Thanks again for being down for the Groupbuy in the first place! I've wanted to upgrade to the EVO since I first bought the RED Gold Mount plate, but it always felt prohibitively expensive.

    Hi Zack

i could be down for the DSMC2 version if the process was streamlined as suggested by Ryan.

I'd also buy a DSMC2 version if available in the group buy.

    Is the DSMC2 RED approoved?
Is it still a prototype? Or are there some user feedback?

Do the P-Tap output come from the internal battery feed or directly from the Vlock (without buffer)?

    Thanks

    Patrick

    Two questions:

    1) Can the Evo-V be used on any V-mount camera?

    2) Does the 20% CoreSWX discount apply to the newly released FX9 V-Mount plate?
