    Hi All,

I know compact and anamorphic usually don't get along really well but I'm looking for a compact anamorphic prime which I can throw into my water housing, not the diving one, the "surf one" so weight and size is really an issue.

I'm thinking about the Orion 50mm, I'm afraid the 32mm will be too wide on Monstro but still I need an equivalent of a spherical prime between 25 and 32mm.

I've been asking a lot about lenses and set-up on this forum but to be honest, it's where I found the best advices.

    Kowa 40 with a Zeiss/Bolex Aspheron in front ?

Needs testing. The aspheron could be good or bad for underwater.

Keep up your beautiful work Vincent !

Panavision also has some small speciality optics.

Lord please forgive me , I know it’s just not the same thing but a nice small 14mm sigma art EF mount lens Or a Zeiss Milvus 15mm with a oval diaphragm made of paper behind the iris to do some anamor-fake bokeh ? This would be horizontal field of view equivalent of a 28 or 30mm anamorphic, and letterbox down vertically to taste...

    Many thanks Dan.
Your idea could be quite interesting.
I will investigate and try to find different lens options.
