Again, top to bottom, left to right:

Love these mult- colored ones and the Metallica blue and red! Still can't believe these are computer generated!

Of course I saw the writing on the wall for commercial photography a while ago. This is evidence that for many commercial still images, cameras will not be required. If I were a high end commercial photographer the only software I'd be using is Blender.
IKEA rarely do photography anymore for their interior "photos", it's much easier just loading the blueprints for their stuff into renders and have perfect control over how to present it.

This is why realtime productions will take over in the future. Photography and cinematography will only be applied to those projects that value those aesthetic approaches, but any production that only focus on the result and not the aesthetic choice of reality for the result will choose to do it virtually in order to maximize control and not risk losing days in schedule. Case point, Avengers Endgame is almost animated and we are seeing a surge of digital characters moving into photo realism while a series like Mandalorian uses real-time Unreal engine backgrounds live. When rendered CGI and realtime CGI merge into photorealism we will see a surge of productions doing it all in realtime. It's easier and more cost effective compared to large real world productions. Any blockbuster outside of auteur ones like Christopher Nolan will move over to this new type of production.
