Who else remembers Microdrives(CF cards with an actual spinning drive inside) and when they finally broke the 1GB barrier? I believe a 1GB card was $500, then.

Yeah, it’s pretty much an embarrassment of riches with storage and tech, now. My iPhone has 50x the storage capacity of my first laptop computer, not to mention how it eclipses it in every other way imaginable, too, for about 1/5th the cost. I guess it always helps to have some perspective from “the good ‘ole days” to really appreciate what we have now, sometimes.

think there will be a new Red Monitor with SDI input, but also talks to the Red Komodo? (maybe through Bluetooth, WIFI or that baseplate?)
I have to try and change the landscape, whatever it is.

Doubt that. SDI can't pass any info anyway. Any SDI monitor will do the trick. Your phone will be the main conduit, plus the top control panel will have most of the useful tools.

Ironically the same day I had lasik touch-up surgery, about 2 hours later I was greenlit on a project via conference call blind as a moth in an empty Vaseline jar. post surgery Komodo is going to get it's travel legs in 2020. All I can say for now.

But that little monster is going to come with me EVERYWHERE.

Can't wait to bring this little dragon into the mountains with me. V-mount batteries have been a back breaker over the years.

Sorry to hear about your eye issues Phil :(

Coincidentally I too was referred to lasik to correct my heavy astigmatism issue, but I am honestly a bit afraid of it.

I hope the very bets post surgery recovery to you buddy.

    Thanks bud.

Truthfully I am at one with all of this. Stakes are high with most of what I do these days, which has turned me into Vin Diesel in many ways:
