From what I understand, you can't make a FLR for the M lenses, due to the fact that they aren't retrofocus designs, or something like that. OTOH, they're so small, it almost doesn't matter.
Good production values may not be noticed. Bad production values will be.

    Sorry, meant Leica R.
Mainly interested in Zeiss ZF or Leica R lenses.

A retrofocus design isn't required for a focal reducer, the issue with the M lenses is simply that there's not physically enough space for the optics; M mount flange is only 7.8mm farther from the sensor than the RF mount flange, and M lenses can often have optics protruding rearward beyond the flange.

I have Leica summicron R lenses that I adapted with leitax ef mounts. Won’t that work the same as if it was an ef lens on the adaptor?

Yes. Similarly I have adapted all my Leica-R to Canon-EF this way and it really is the most sensible thing to do because there aren't exactly new R-Mount bodies being made.

    This is the way.

I’m going to guess that a handful of people have the Komodo for testing/footage. I think April will be the month to see some footage.

    Hear, hear!

Definitely better that the cameras we can't even use during the quarantine be delayed than Red sacrifice its employees' health to meet a pre-pandemic deadline.

Will Komodo be able to utilize the control ring on Canon's RF to EF adapter?

If we know the camera is going to do 4K @60 and 2K @120 is it fair to assume it could do 3K resolution with 96fps?
