Not OP, but our company has an Aivascope and might be looking into another soon. Weíve used them mostly on S1H with contax glass. Honestly, for a scope, itís quite sharp. I do feel like I have to stop down to 2.8 for my personal taste of sharpness, which then makes the oval bokeh a little more rectangle bokeh (but thatís because of the contax lens design). All of that being said, for $2.5k, youíre getting a pretty versatile scope. Sure, thereís probably better scopes out there, but the ease of use has been what sold me on it. Itís easy to get the scope in the correct vertical position, easy screw filter sizes for step ups or step downs. In a budget situation, itís a great way to go anamorphic.

Very encouraging, original and full of life. Way more interesting than a chart!

    Thanks Bob.

That looks great with the aivascope. I think the adapter has helped get rid of those handheld global shutter jitters I’ve been seeing on so much footage. CMOS would help disguise them, but global shutter is better. But an adapter helps.

Great stuff! Global shutter really is fantastic. Having absolutely zero hint of jello cam and being able to feeling move the camera around is fantastic. This lens is super cool.
