Canon C70 vs RED Komodo FEAT. Dave May

    By
    graetzmedia

Broadcast live from Australia, I'll be joined by my buddy Dave May who is one of the first in the world to go hands-on with the new Canon C70. We'll size it up against the RED Komodo and nerd out pretty hard on specs and where the C70 fits into each of our workflows.

I am unable to mount my CFast card as Read/Write on my Mac to update the firmware. Anyone else running into this issue? Any ideas. Using Red Watchdog to remount the card as Read/Write doesn't seem to be working. Still shows up as Read only and can't copy the new firmware upgrade to the card. Using the Angelbird 512GB cards and their reader.

Did you move the physical switch at the back of the Angelbird reader to be read/write? I know folks keep forgetting that switch.

I assume that he may have used fluorescent bulbs in the background and maybe something close to a daylight balanced bulb for the foreground for her on the couch. Only Clifford knows the truth

    Redo for skintone correction

I learn a lot from your posts like this.

    Thanks Rand

    David,

    Here are the actual Corrections

    Lastly,

The Green to Purple shift of the background and foreground in the video halfway through the video was done by adding an Adjustment Layer at the end and adding a correction to that Adjustment Layer from 3Dlut Creator. This was done by using a "Vector" based color corrector to Re-Map all of the colors that make up that Green Hue to a Purple color. I thought that there should be some reason to assume she was a witch other than wearing a witch's hat on her head.

You could also do this with "Hue vs Hue" as well
