Besides the Dolgin, I can also recommend this:

I had an idea for a battery, it wouldn’t be hot swappable but it is a re housed gdu V-Mount with 2 canon slots connected instead of a vmount slot. This would be great to keep the same form factor, and that cool looking metal finish.

I'm going to buy some canon-955 7.4v, and wish for the best.

The Canon BP-955s are on backorder until Sept. both at Adorama and B&H (and overpriced at Amazon). Has anyone a good source for the batteries?

Quoting myself here - found that there are a bunch of used BP-955s on Adorama right now for $38 a piece. I ordered a bunch to get started and cross my fingers that they are not totally bust! Does anyone have experience buying used batteries?

I bought some used ones from B&H. One charges perfect one didn't work I sent it back and they sent me another one which also didn't work. So I bought one off of eBay.

Well that sounds like an adventure in the making. I have 6 coming my way. So by your ratio two should work :D

I just recieved the last two Canon BP955 batteries from Crutchfield. I opened both the packages and pressed the charge indicator button and neither lit up at all. Since I don't have my Dolgin charger or Komodo yet I'm unable to confirm if these batteries are DOA or not.

When the BP955s are out of juice is the charge indicator light inoperable?

I just want to say from my own experience, these Canon BP9xx batteries usually arrive with very little or no charge at all. Don’t stress over it, I’m sure they’re just fine. And yeah, when they’re out of juice, the indicator does nothing.
