Thanks andy, looks good but I think its still too big. Looking for something which is one piece that bolts directly into the camera. I'd much rather have something that is flush to the camera body. Seems like a perfect opportunity for it. Something with captive screws in the handle that you just tighten down and its all one piece.

Awesome. Looks like this Ignitedigi setup might be just the ticket to get a Komodo well balanced on Movi Pro with glass and motors. Looks like the CG with any chunky lens is going to fall forward of the lens mount (crazy)

Make some room for KOMODO LINK (Top Pins to USB-C interface):

    Hey guys,

I don't want to break the party, I just realized - while looking at KOMODO LINK - that it seems like you can't mount this adapter when using KipperTie's Revolva. *already imaging Revolva-users cutting off the protrusion with the 1/4"-20 threads*
Mounting a NATO rail for using a Top handle/accessories would have been possible by using longer screws, "sandwiching" or squeezing the adapter between KOMODO and the NATO rail, instead of designing a interfering protrusion.
38 or 40 pins, but using only 12 pins? I hope someone makes more use of the potential of the top interface.
I was hoping for a kinda-USBout for powering smartphone(monitor)+R/S trigger+lens control-side handle anyway, so let's wait and see what's still in development. (no complaint at all, it definitely is a nice basic adapter, it was just a thought - hope dies last)
The handle could be powered by an external source, let's say a Canon LP-E6 battery, if power consumption is a problem.

I've been looking but cant seem to find out if there's any bottom riser base plates available with ingratiated 15mm rail holes that are the correct height for standardized 15mm lw mattebox to lens / rails yet?

    Something similar to these https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...eft_field.html

With a Komodo riser measured out for proper rails to lens / matte box distance... Also anyone know the riser height needed in general ?

Red brought two really good things to the film community. r3d´s and nato rail. Every edge, or surface of a cage, plate or what ever I think should be nato rail shaped. I hate the bolt on things that takes tools to unmount, screws that disappear etc.
