Hey all you RED centric filmmakers out there with amazing finished films. We are hosting a rapid fire online film festival called Couch-A-Thon. we are currently taking submissions for Shorts and Features of various genres. There is NO submission fee instead we are giving out a tax credit for 75/short and 150/feature for all accepted films. We will be streaming our blocks of content every night from our website. The goal is to get friends and family and lovers of indie cinema to donate to our non profit partners at Northwest Film Forum in Seattle. We have a fund set up that will disperse ALL funds from this festival to gig workers in need who have been affected by Covid-19.

If you have a finished project that you want to premiere or just show again, we would love to have you submit and share your work with the world. If everyone is home paying for rentals on Amazon and other platforms, they might as well be donating to a solid cause to support filmmakers and watch new content. Check out the image below for details, then be sure to visit the site www.couchathonfilmextravaganza.org to submit your film.

Streaming starts April 1st 2020 and we couldn’t be happier to support your work. from all of us at Northwest Film Forum, Northwest Camera Co, Strange Trails Productions and Kai Films, we look forward to doing our part to support all the filmmakers in need. If you’re a worker in need, you’ll be able to apply for relief through the Northwest Film Forum fund which we will post as we near the end of our first week of streaming. If you're interested in setting something up like this in your area, we are looking to get Couch-A-Thon to as many local markets as possible.

Hoping Jarred can help us here as well with some super rad content to gain some viewers or even some RED giveaways for our winner for best picture and best short.

So far we've had over a 100 films submit which is fantastic. Reminder if you have something current or from the past you'd like to get some air time, send it on over. Visit www.couchathonfilmextravaganza.org to submit.

Checking in now to see if we can do 6-9am and 6-9pm each day to give people more chances to watch.
