yup, No idea what the pictures would be like but the connectivity (XLR's mainly) is great - jealous!

Its difficult to call them copy cats any more, as I see it they are really taking the lead in a lot of ways. Yes sure other cameras might do a lot of things better / look better etc. But on paper this is really no paperweight.
Well for the specs pretty impressive.
We have been trying to convince RED to have these specifications in the camera for a few years or at least in part. Starting from the internal ND......ecc eccc...
Let's see RED what it will do with dmsc3, but I see it hard to fight with these prices
Prices are insane on that thing.
If DSMC3 will be far from that in price and features it will be hard for Red to keep up.
A lifecycle of 2 years between the original LF and the Edge is pretty hard for customers to be honest.
But with the price of 12000 quid in mind its a no brainer for most of people.
I love my Helium and we are still on top of the line with 8k 60fps. I will keep on using it until we see the 120fps in 8K on a large format.
Let's see how it holds up to the FX9.
Red "Monstro" DSMC3 is in another league IMHO.
