What is the consensus on the SmallHD FOCUS Bolt 500 RX Wireless Monitor?

    Invest to Red Equipment.
    Invest to Red Cinema Co.
This is the best way because RED is an inventor and spends our money on our future equipment that we will use tomorrow.

SmallHD is part of the Vitec capitalist group.

I haven't tried the SmallHD as on-camera monitor but do have a 702 super-bright for my camera assistant.

I also got the new super-bright Red Touch monitor a few months ago (to replace the original one), and i absolutely love it. Been using it outside in bright sunlight on the Movi and was still able to view the image, which wasn't the case with the old one. This might also be the case with the Small-HD, but I really love the simplicity of the Red touch compared to other solutions. Just 1 cable, no additional batteries, all menus available directly from the touch screen. It's pretty expensive but totally worth it in my opinion.
I really hope Red keeps that option on future DSMC3 bodies.
