The first camera I ever bought was an Olympus Stylus, which featured a 35mm f2.8 lens. Despite the incredible functionality in the digital cameras I've owned since, I don't know if another camera has ever been so simple and fun to use.

Hope the new owners are able to do something special that renews the greatness of the brand...

    M Harvey,

Yeah, hopefully they will continue on in the traditions of the Olympus brand name, with new innovations to revive the products. I never used any of the Olympus cameras. However, I've used their Vintage lenses, and the 75mm f1,8, and both the 25mm f1.7 and 42.5mm f1.7 on all of the Panasonic GH series cameras that I've owned. I always loved the look of those lenses over most of the Panasonic lenses I owned except my panasonic 42.5mm f1.2. It would be a shame to see the quality of the Olympus products suffer from this selling off of the camera business.
