I love where BM is going with this. The 12K is a bit to much for what I need. I would love if they could find a way to get on board with the FF and 4K/120 somehow in a Pocket Cam sized camera.

Good thing this 12k camera will be future proof for 20 (?) years?

The real game changer would be pocket cam with FF and a RF mount. Even if it was only 4 or 5K. Not sure if John Brawley is still here but that would be a dream machine ;)

With global shutter, 16bit full 240fps readout, iso 24000 would be even better. The chase never ends ;-)

Fair point. But in reality I just wish the 6K was a RF mount. Even that would be amazing.

People still shoot on the Red One MX.

no mater the dynamic range 12k is 12k. ESPECIALLY since they didn't stop at 12K 24p or 30p like many.

12K 60p right? 8K 120P, thats not future proof? What are you shooting on?

There are too many options in that space. What they did is right, top of the pile. 12K.

Sure thy will follow up with their pocket lines being FF.

Just the general concept of anything being considered "future proof" is silly to me. Especially in the realm of rapidly depreciating electronic items that will be obsoleted by its manufacturer within 18 months.

That doesn't mean you can't use it 20 years from now. Some people probably still commute in a horse drawn carriage.

But "future proof" ? No such thing.
