GROUP BUY IS CLOSED! Thank you all for participating!

    Start Date: ASAP
End date: Sept. 30 Midnight PST
    Orders will start shipping immediately

How do I join the Group Buy?

Please make a post below stating how many batteries you want
using the specific code for your battery choice
    Example: 4x NEO 150S = 4x Hypercore 150 Mini V-Mount OR 4x NEO 150AG = 4x Hypercore 150 Mini Gold Mount

Let me know if you have any questions!

    Hello everyone-

I'm happy to be helping Core SWX out with a group buy on their NEO-150 Mini individual batteries, 4-packs, and battery/charger kits. The big kicker is that with the purchase of a NEO-150, anything else you put on your order will be 20% off. To sweeten the deal, ground shipping is included for free.

    SPECS:
    Capacity: 147Wh (14.8v, 9.9Ah)
    Size: 3.54” x 4.65” x 2.38”
    Weight: 1.8lbs.
    Normal Runtime: (25w) 5.9hrs.
    Load: 16A peak/12A continuous
RFID Equipped: View battery vitals from VoltBridge app or RFID reader
USB- 5V output & Firmware upgradeable

I started using Core SWX after a group buy here years ago on REDUser, and I use them exclusively now. I have about 25 batteries to power my cameras, lights, monitors and just about everything else on set. Over time the batteries have gotten smaller, with more and more features added with each new product. The integrated P-Tap and USB on each battery has been invaluable. On top of that, the company has great support... I had an issue with a battery plate on my brand new quad charger and they overnighted a replacement to me free of charge. Its brands like this I like to actually stand behind and introduce their products to other people.

Like all group buys, there is a tiered discount based on how many are purchased. Here is the breakdown:

OK- so now that the group buy is closed you should have all receved a message from Zack or myself giving you access to the purchasing portal. If you got in before our last participant, Willis, and haven't heard from us, let me know.

Regarding payment, add-ons, and shipping status, Zack is the man to help you out.

Thank you all again for making this group buy a success and thank you to Core SWX to offering such an amazing discount to all of us here at REDUser!

Can someone explain why the NEO 150 Mini V-Mt fares vs the Hypercore 150 V-Mt?

I ordered a set of Hypercore 150, but am wondering if I should cancel that order and go with the Neo's instead. Thanks!

    Hey Nikhil!
The NEO-150 is great if you don't need the extra weight and size of the Hypercore 150. NEO-150 is 1.8 lbs vs Hypercore 150 2.4 lbs

You get 12A/16A Max discharge out of the NEO vs 10A / 12A max on the Hypercore 150.

Both are great batteries, they just serve different applications and preferences.

Thanks Zack. Does the Hypercore 150 last longer? I don't see a big difference there either, 6.0 hrs vs 5.9 at 25W or something along those lines. So excluding the weight consideration, it just feels like the Neo has EOL'ed the Hypercore 150 in terms of the tech specs. Am I wrong on that? Or is there a con to the Neo that I am missing that'd make me want to stick to the Hypercore 150? Thanks for any clarity! I think I'm getting a four pack of Neo anyways, just wish I didn't have to wait until end of sept for it.

Runtime between the two models are virtually identical at moderate discharge levels. It's only when the discharge is over 10A that the NEO will slightly out perform the Hypercore 150.

We will start shipping orders as soon as third tier is hits. Just need a few more people to commit to a 4 pack and we'll be there!
