    Having never spent extended periods of time watching a front projected image in close proximity until I got my projector, I never realized just how much more pleasant the viewing experience is vs. emissive technology.

    That's a valid point. That said, since the D-ILA tech offers such deep blacks, the ratio is pretty close. To actually see that ratio, you need a "bat cave" to kill the ambient and reflected light - which may or many not be practical in your viewing environment.

    Leaning towards a Optoma CinemaX P2 and EluneVision Aurora 8K 100 inch 16:9 Aspect Ratio Ultra Short Throw NanoEdge ALR Fixed-Frame Projection Screen. Still doing research, thanks all!
