Hi all. . .
I don't know what I did (something!), but my Scarlet Dragon shows M+S on the audio screen in place of the normal audio meters.
My question now is, how do I get back seeing my normal audio meters again?
Thanks.

Found the problem. . . somehow or other, I managed to put the camera into "stills" mode. All is again well.

Happy to hear about you already find the solution.
Good luck![]()
For anyone that doesn't know, you slide the M-S button on front top of the handle.
I think you'd be wise to record sound only on a separate audio recorder, and only use the sound in the camera as a backup. That's very, very standard practice on scripted projects. I get that on run-'n'-gun documentaries and news shot under battle conditions, that's not always possible. For everything else, I think you're a lot better off to capture sound on a multitrack recorder.
Oh, we do double-system recording, but I always run the audio into the camera and hence need to see the meters. I still don't know how I accidentally tripped that menu item to put it into M+S mode, but I did!
Disable the motion/stills button on the front of the handle. My guess is that it got moved to the stills mode maybe when getting in or out of the case.
