Komodo shipping?

I spoke to someone about their order and he said he got pushed to the 22nd and he ordered his on oct 26th. I got message that my order was pushed to the 22nd also. Is it possible for them to cover that many shipping dates within one go? Looking at the situation with covid I doubt it.. we’ll see.

At this point they shouldn't even gives us guestimated dates, I've had 4 already. They might as well just say within 4 months you'll recieve your camera lol I hella regret selling my camera thinking I would've recieved my baby dragon already back in december. I had to cancel multiple shoots because of it, but thank God I have patient clients right now that are willing to wait lol

I really did the same! Sold my Camera.. I take full responsibility in doing that.. but I totally agree with you on giving guestimates...It’s hurting the credibility at this point..which is a shame.. because I love what RED does and what they stand for. Here is to all of us receiving the baby dragon coming week!

Somebody waiting for you to receive Your camera? Very interested is what kind of projects are willing to wait. Hope its some student shorts or something.
You can always rent and make the work done.

I suppose it depends on what the hold up is. One poster mentioned that it's due to parts that are part of the package, rather than part of the camera itself, which means that the cameras are ready and awaiting shipment having already gone through assembly and testing. If that's still the case, then shipping a bunch of cameras when their missing parts arrive isn't such a stretch.

I'm hoping that's still the case. There have been a lot of hold ups at the port in LA, so...

I wasn't planning on selling it anyway, but having an Epic-W does make the waiting a bit easier. The 800mm rf lens is still looking a bit sad though, without a camera to attach it to...

Yes, I also sold an epic-x that had as B camera thinking that I would have the Komodo in December as I had been told several times from RED, but at least I have continued working with my helium and a friend's dragon.

I just hope it arrives by the end of January ... for February I have a job with three cameras and having to rent having bought one is a fucking bummer

Red sent me an e-mail today with a new estimate as a follow up to my previous inquiry, it's now the 22nd.
