Sony Announces the FX6: A Hybridization Between VENICE and Alpha

I've been waiting for about 4 to 5 hours for the Video that I made from the three sample clips of the Sony Fx6 to finish processing in the DCI 4K resolution I encoded it in. Even though I exported it out of Resolve in the DNxHR HQ format it shouldn't have taken this long.

So Here it is in 1080P instead. I'll try to upload it again in DCI 4K tomorrow.

You can say all good things about the SONY Venice whatever. However, when you bring Venice footage into a professional stage, it falls apart. When you analyze Venice footage on a calibrated 4K reference monitor, It looks muddy. I can talk about how this happened and 3/4's of your viewer's wouldn't know the difference.

Neil,

I've never used or graded any Sony Venice footage so I will have to take your word for it. What in your opinion do you believe is the reason for it falling apart? The footage that I graded above had alot of noise but that was mostly due to it being shot in low light and me lifting the brightness didn't help much either. I used the Noise Reduction in Davinci Resolve Studio to get rid most but not all of it.
