What are you talking about? There was no deconstructive comments here. No flaming, etc. People expressed their opinions. Did you expect compliments or something? We didn't agree with whatever you had in mind so you pull out?

I bet when you were a kid and brought the ball to the game and didn't get on the team you wanted, you took your ball home didn't you?

    Big baby. :whistling:

    hey, I GAVE him a compliment :/

Anyway, Weirdcrew, his grab was a cool looking close up profile of a women with some kind of cut or wound on her face. Crushed blacks, lots blue/purply color. Very moody.

Again cool shot, but when discussing flesh tone, its impossible to tell how the camera interpreted skin in that shot with all the make up and heavy grading, that's all.

    Oh yeah! lol

I love the tripod. Only things I'd change: Bubble level on the outside of the head so it's not under the camera, I wish I could tighten up the tilt control even further, and when I take off the spreader to shoot as low as possible, all the weight is supported on one thin line on each leg and it looks like it could potentially wear until it cracks. But it's performed perfectly and has great feel. And it was a lot cheaper than the O'Connor :)

    Anyway, back on topic...

I like the skin tones :)

I agree with this in one respect: Red has a very distinctive look for skin tones. I can now spot Red footage because of the way it captures paler complexions. But I love that look and wouldn't describe it as "plastic" but cinematic. I think it makes actors look beautiful. So I suppose every medium--35mm film stock, various HD cameras, etc.--will each come with different "looks" that you can choose creatively to get the sort of result you want.
