I found some old lenses that I had once-upon a time got at a thrift shop for a couple of dollars(US). They've been sitting in a glass cabinet for years! I was looking for my old incident footcandle light meter and just picked up one to play with it.. then I realized it had the following engraved on it: "MATI 8mm F1.2" ..uh.. wow.. seriously? The front glass is flawless. Rear.. needs cleaning. I haven't found much on the web about Mati lenses, wondered if anyone here has ever used one and could something like this one be modified for some sort of usefulness somewhere? :shifty:
I take some photos this weekend.. just in case it'll help jog someone's memory.
